My name is Bruno Souza de Carvalho. I founded Wellness Review Labs and I edit everything published here.
Why this site exists
I spend my working life inside the direct-to-consumer supplement industry. I see the sales pages before they go live. I have read hundreds of them.
What I kept noticing is that the same page that promises a 90% success rate never tells you what is actually in the bottle. It invents a doctor. It quotes a study that does not exist. And the person reading it is usually 60 years old, tired, and has already been let down by three other products.
So I built the site I wanted that person to find instead.
What I actually do
I read the published research on a mechanism. I read the manufacturer's own materials. I compare the format, the dosing, the price structure and the guarantee against the alternatives. Then I publish the difference between what the research supports and what the marketing claims.
I do not run laboratory assays. I do not conduct clinical trials. I do not interview customers and present it as evidence. Where I could not verify something, the article says so in its own section — What We Could Not Verify. You will not find that section on a page that is trying to sell you something at any cost.
How I pay for it
Wellness Review Labs is reader-supported. We may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. This never affects which products we cover or what we say about them.
I would rather tell you that plainly than pretend this site runs on air. Commission never decides the verdict — several guides here end by telling a reader that the product is not for them.
What I will never do
- Claim a supplement cures, treats or prevents a disease. It is not legal and it is not true.
- Invent a statistic, a study, a doctor or a customer review.
- Name an ingredient a manufacturer has not published. If a company will not tell you what is in the bottle, I say that instead of guessing.
- Suggest anyone stop, reduce or replace a prescribed medication. That conversation belongs with your prescriber.
